Dream Lover

The October tour of Venice ended with a sunset gondola ride. I sat alone in the back, watching them holding hands, the seventy five year-old newlyweds giggling like teenagers, the long-married couples smiling as they silently gazed at the dreamlike scenes of Venice passing by.
